Author, Researcher, and Storyteller

Paul is the author of Lens on the Dragon, a memoir about life, work, and storytelling inside modern China. The book follows his years as a teacher, manager, and observer in a fast-changing society, where everyday experiences often carried deeper cultural and political meaning. It is a personal account, but also a study in communication, identity, and what it means to find your voice in unfamiliar places.

His writing blends lived experience with global business insight and reflective storytelling. The result is a style that is both analytical and deeply human, grounded in real conversations, classrooms, and cross-cultural encounters.

Alongside his speaking and corporate training, Paul continues to publish essays and research on mindfulness in management, intercultural communication, and the evolving nature of leadership in a global economy. His work connects academic ideas with real-world practice, offering perspectives that are thoughtful, practical, and often a little unexpected.
